Dr. Ravindra Kumar is the former vice-chancellor of the University of Meerut in India, and the current editor-in-chief of the Global Peace International Journal. He has been a visiting professor and scholar to a number of countries, has delivered more than 350 lectures around the world and organized many national and international seminars on critical issues of our times. He has written more than 100 works on social, religious, political, historical, educational and cultural issues. These include Morality and Ethics in Public Life, Theory and Practice of Gandhian Non-Violence and Five Thousand Years of Indian Culture. Dr. Kumar has received many awards and honors, including the Padma Shri, awarded by the president of India for his noteworthy services to the nation.
